The definitive one season wonder, My So-Called Life, debuted in 1994 to high praises but mediocre ratings; but not even one of the world’s first online campaign could save the show. Legend had it that Claire Danes no longer wanted to be part of the show, fueling teenage angst everywhere, but it was revealed in a 2004 interview that she was just an awkward teen with no real pull to cancel the series. Thankfully, MTV re-aired the series for the better half of a decade exposing a whole new audience to the show.
Anyway, in this episode Patrick and Kat discuss their only Halloween episode, appropriately titled “Halloween.” This is the one where the whole gang, sans Jordan and Ricky, break into the school to conduct a seance. I guess when your sixteen, bored, and angsty, there just isn’t that much to do on Halloween night?
