This week Patrick and Kat temporarily rebrand themselves as Here Comes the Boos, the Halloween themed podcast-within-the-podcast. I know what you’re thinking, it’s technically still summer; but if Starbucks can sell pumpkin spice lattes already we can pump out Halloween themed episodes this early in September. Plus, we have a ton of stuff we want to cover this year.
Anyway, to kick off Here Comes the Boos, we are heading back to Lanford, IL to check in on the Conner family. This time Roseanne and Dan play a nasty prank on their annoying neighbor Kathy; and Roseanne now lives in fear that Kathy will seek bloody revenge. Does she? Nah, but Dan leads her to believe she did.
Also, we get to the bottom of other fun things that were happening in the fall of 1991 when this was released, such as: Full House moves from Fridays to Tuesday night, Home Improvementpremiers, Vanilla Ice drops his mega-bomb Cool as Ice into a cineplex near you, a pre-Early Edition and Friday Night Lights Kyle Chandler rocks the ABC lineup in some primetime drama called Homefront, and the eastern coast is devastated by The Perfect Storm; which later is developed into a blockbuster film starring George Clooney, who also happens to be in this episode of Roseanne.
